The workers were also very professional and paid attention to the small details. They were good at what they did and very courteous. As with any remodel, there were a lot of things we couldn’t plan for. The unexpected circumstances were not Archstone Home Builders’ fault, but, regardless, Alex and his crew did everything they could to help guide us through the hurdles without hesitation. He was very good at communicating and would relieve us of any worry or stress we had about the renovation.
We highly recommend Archstone Home builders and Alex special. We are already in contact with him about our next home renovation because the first one was such a breeze. We are absolutely in LOVE with our new kitchen!

Everyone on Alex’s team is courteous and knows what they’re doing. Throughout all of the projects we had Alex work on, I probably met them all, from the demolition guys to the tile and drywall guys, and they were all amazing.

We were incredibly lucky to find Alex @ Archstone Home builders.. We interviewed several contractors when we wanted to do a major renovation. The project was to include the whole house which included three bedrooms, the kitchen, flooring, and marble tiling. Most of the contractors gave insanely high costs but Alex was very detail oriented from the very first walkthrough. Alex was very easy to communicate with and he was prompt in responses and honest about the job. He did not beat around the bush and was direct in what needed to be done and the costs associated with doing those things. He helped us work within the bounds of permits, costs, time, and space while at the same time letting us be creative. Our project was a major undertaking but Alex proved that he can get it done no matter the size of the job. I have already contacted Alex to do more work on the house because the first job went so well. I am glad to have someone to go to when I need any renovation done.

The renovation lasted about 8 months and we absolutely love the result. Alex is amazing with dealing with unexpected issues and communicating. He helped me make all of the decisions I had to make which would have been impossible to do otherwise. He gave me options, ideas, and solutions to complex problems to get what I want done. I did my research before choosing (insert company name) and I’m so glad I found Alex. He is hardworking, experienced, and knows what he’s doing. I would without hesitation hire him again and recommend him to friends and family.

We loved our experience with Archstone Home builders and Alex in particular. Our friends have had bad experiences with contractors so we took our time and interviewed 6 companies before choosing. Alex’s bid was the most comprehensive and professional so we went with him. The bid was competitive; not the lowest bid, but definitely worth paying more for the level of service he very clearly offered. We were very happy, not just with the result, but throughout the whole remodeling process. Alex was very responsive and checked to see how the job was going almost every day. He told us what was going to be happening every day and made sure we were always in the loop. The workers were always timely, professional, and neat. They even worked on the weekends! When any situations came up, Alex came over himself to deal with them and make sure we were happy. The job went a few days over the quoted timeframe, but that was fine with us. Our kitchen remodel took 3 and a half weeks when every other contractor told us it would take 6-8 weeks. It was shocking how fast time went and how the workers working were barely noticeable. Alex went above and beyond to make us happy and we have already recommended him to several friends and family members. The whole experience was enjoyable when it could have been so much worse with other companies. I cannot recommend working with Archstone Home, and specifically Alex, any more highly. My friends who have had terrible experiences with contractors were jealous because our job was done quickly and painlessly. It was just an overall amazing experience and we’re happy on every level.

Archstone Home builders worked on our kitchen and den and we could not be any happier. We compared their prices and proposals with competitors and Eden’s were much more reasonable and a lot more detailed. Alex, the project manager, was very communicative and kept us updated every step of the way. The crew had a lot of work to do, from completing the demo, to removing a wall, to installing flooring, cabinets, and counters, and they were very professional. Despite the peculiar shape of our kitchen, Alex did an amazing job of finding solutions that maximized the space.

Alex and his crew at Archstone Home builders were fantastic. Their attention to detail is honestly unmatched. I am not new to using contractors, having both good and bad experiences, but after using Alex, we will be using him from now on. They turned our garage into a beautiful office space and built an amazing theater in the main house. Easy to work with and a lot of attention to detail.

This review is a long time coming and is specifically for Alex Voloshin. If Houzz would let me give 10 out of 5 stars, I would definitely give him 10. My husband met with 5 other contractors when we wanted to work on our home addition. Every other company looked like amateurs when compared to Alex. The prices they gave us seemed out of thin air and they did not give us any details of where the cost came from. Alex’s bid, on the other hand, amazed me. He was very attentive, took a lot of notes, and broke down all of the costs. Alex bid was not the cheapest bid, nor was it the most expensive, but it was Alex that made the difference with his communication and attention. The job was quoted to take roughly 5 months, and that is how much it actually took. Throughout the process, Alex was patient and listened to what we wanted. Nothing was approved until Alex ran it by us and he was at our house every day his workers were to make sure everything was perfect. I do not know if Alex ever rests but he would answer our texts no matter the time of day or night. The result was exactly what we wanted. Having moved in now, it is hard to say goodbye to Alex. We highly recommend Archstone Home and Alex if you need a remodel.

When I needed my kitchen remodel, I used Archstone Home Builders. They added new cabinets, renewed the old cabinets, built a hood above my stove, and replaced the countertop as well as the backsplash. Alex was amazing to work with. He was communicative, professional, and very detail-oriented. The whole team was clean, friendly, and available to answer all of my questions. Not only that, but they finished ahead of schedule and did an amazing job! I have found the contractors that I will use on any future project.

We are extremely happy with our kitchen remodel that Archstone Home Builders worked on. This was the second project we have done with Alex. He is very responsive and communicative no matter the day of the week or time of day. He made sure the remodel avoided any unnecessary delays. When potential problems and delays did occur, though, he was prompt to deal with them and find solutions. Alex has the kind of confidence in what he is doing that reassures his clients that the work will be done well. Further, the rest of the crews were neat, courteous, and professional. The demolition and flooring/tiling crews were particularly good. Archstone Home Builders were fantastic. For further remodels, we will be using Alex and Archstone Home Builders as our first choice of contractors.
